While the quality of service provided by the Registrar's Office is generally perceived to be of a high order, there is an implicit academic objective in the University to spend as little as possible on administration. Data produced in various comparative analyses of expenditure on administration at UWA in comparison with other universities in the sector indicate that UWA has a relatively lean central administration.
